This is a DOG FRIENDLY home built with consultation and approval of our own dogs. There’s a doggie door leading to the fenced-in backyard AND out the back gate on to the trail. But you don’t need a pet to enjoy A ROCKAWAY HIDEAWAY. We’re people friendly too!
The MAIN LEVEL features a large open living area with 30’ ceiling, a stone fireplace with gas logs, a wall of windows for the glorious view and abundant light that leads to a large screened porch. This level is all hardwood floors with one King Master suite, a separate dining area and a second bedroom with another full bath, complete laundry room and ample closets. The UPPER LEVEL is carpeted with a roomy loft that overlooks the first floor and a huge second King Master suite with the third full bath.
This cabin has it all. Everything is new, modern and it’s been beautifully furnished by local high style companies so that it sleeps up to eight comfortably. It’s a No Smoking home.
We’re in a great location only two miles down the mountain (on Fie Top Rd) into Maggie Valley or up two miles to skiing and horseback riding; only 15 minutes to charming Waynesville, ten minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, twenty to Cherokee Casino, and close enough to Asheville to enjoy all it has to offer. You’ll find hiking trails, fishing, and six nearby golf courses or you can simply relax on one of the two porches.
