Bird’s Eye View is a cozy mountainside 2B/2B cabin at the west end of Maggie Valley just off Highway 19 (Soco Road) next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is high up in the beautiful Smoky Falls area of the Balsam Mountains. On the large deck you’ll have year-round scenic views from amid the tree tops. This mountain getaway features a very private setting yet is only a short drive from all the wonderful local area attractions: hike, fish, shop, walk, ski, tour, hunt, gamble, explore, or just relax in peaceful bliss. Inside the cabin you’ll have all the comforts of home, with a convenient split-plan design that includes a bedroom and bath on each end of the cabin. The great room in the middle features an authentic wood stove and stove pipe, a vaulted ceiling with wood decor and large glass doors and windows to enjoy the views. The kitchen is conveniently located off the great room with a small walk-in pantry. Upstairs, the loft provides a perfect hide-away for the little ones, or a table game, or an opportunity to sink into a beanbag for a snooze or a comfortable read. The mountain offers great walking trails, breathtaking views, and a scenic creek that winds down into Maggie Valley. Open year round, SUV recommended, 4WD and snow chains/cables needed for ice or snow conditions. Recent renovations include new box springs and mattresses, new screen doors and deck painting.
