In the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, NC, this 2 BR/2 BA home is 40 miles west of Asheville and is located in the quiet community of Stoney Ridge. It can sleep up to 6 people with a king bed in the master suite, a double bed in the guest room and a queen sleeper-sofa in the greatroom.

This private community of full-time and vacationing residents is nestled in an area with near-by streams and hiking trails, yet within minutes of the quaint shopping area of downtown Waynesville. Also within 30 minutes are Cherokee and Harrah’s Casino, Ghost Town in the Sky, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Railroad, gem mining, the scenic Cataloochee Valley (and its herds of elk), Cataloochee Ski Resort, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore House and Gardens, horse-back riding, exciting whitewater rafting, antique shopping, great dining and numerous championship golf courses.

The cabin is tastefully decorated with all new furnishings. You can relax with a cup of coffee on one of the 2 covered porches, and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views of the mountains and the valley from the elevation of 3350 ft. The gradually sloping, paved roads to the cabin make it an ideal location for those travelers who are not comfortable with the usual steep, mountain driving, but still want a great view. It’s even easy when the winter snows fall because the community roads are maintained by the county.

This one-level has a large, open greatroom, dining area and kitchen. The vaulted ceilings and lots of windows make you feel like you are on top of the world. The master bedroom has a private porch with rocking chairs to enjoy your morning newspaper and the colorful hummingbirds and songbirds. The front porch also has rocking chairs to enjoy while you are barbequing and sipping on a cold drink, dining outside and enjoying a beautiful pastoral, sunset view of grazing cattle or dozens of wild turkeys.

Come, take a break away from your hectic world and let the peaceful sounds of nature surround you. For more pictures Click Here.
